The Nerd Corner.

For the nerds and geeks among us. This is our wiki on how AI is moving local business from search engine optimization (SEO) to Agent Execution Enablement (AXE).

From SEO to AXE

The work of making a business something an AI agent can choose, book, verify and pay, not just find. SEO got you found. AXE gets it done.

GEO gets you cited. AXE gets you hired. The full explainer is here.

A naming note: spell it out as Agent Execution Enablement (AXE) the first time. Plain "AXE" collides with a body spray brand and a popular accessibility testing tool, and AI systems can mix them up. AXE is a category term, like SEO. It isn't a Prufloop product or trademark.

The five AXE enablers

  1. VerifyLicense, insurance and track record an agent can check.
  2. ExposeReal prices, fees, hours and open times, published plainly.
  3. BookA real slot on the pro's calendar, in one step.
  4. ProvePhotos, the customer's word and a matching invoice.
  5. PayThe fee follows the finished job, not the lead.

How each one works, in more detail.

The Done Economy
The shift from finding services to getting them finished, as AI agents act for people.
Agent Execution Enablement (AXE)
The work of making a business something an AI agent can choose, book, verify and pay, not just find. SEO got you found. AXE gets it done.
The five AXE enablers
Verify, expose, book, prove, pay.

Where lead sites stop: they find and connect, but don't book, verify or get paid on completion.
Done Engine™
What Prufloop is: the system that gets real-world jobs booked by AI assistants and proven done.
Proof of Done™
Prufloop's standard for a finished job: the pro's photos, the customer's confirmation, and an invoice that matches the published terms.

Selection receipt
The plain explanation an assistant gets with every match: needs matched, why this pro, the trade-off, two alternatives.
Search engine optimization (SEO)
Getting a business to rank on a page of search results so a person clicks through. It got businesses found.
AEO and GEO
Answer engine optimization and generative engine optimization: getting a business quoted or cited inside an AI answer. GEO gets you cited. AXE gets you hired.
AI agent
An AI assistant that acts for a person instead of just answering: it can fill out forms, hold a calendar, place calls and make bookings.
llms.txt
A plain-text file at the root of a website that tells AI systems what the business is and which pages matter. Ours is at /llms.txt.
Structured data
Labels in a web page's code (schema.org) that tell machines exactly what a price, an hours block, an article or a business is.
Prufloop
The name comes from the German word prüf, "to inspect," plus loop. In software, a loop is code, or an AI model, that keeps running in the background without getting in anyone's way, handling the work it was built for. Prufloop is that loop for the real world: infrastructure that quietly gets the hard jobs done, starting with the skilled trades and reaching into the other services and goods that are still hard to buy without a phone call.
